Introduction
The Ultimate Mind / Body Performance Training
Interactive Metronome (IM) was developed in the 90's by an engineer who wanted to help musicians develop better timing and rhythm.
The changes seen were remarkable and this program quickly transferred over to the rehabilitation scene. IM is used to restore/improve
function in the motor system following a range of disabling conditions. Today IM is a neuro-motor assessment & treatment
tool used in rehabilitation therapy and human performance training to improve neurological processing, precision, attention and sequencing.
Motor planning and sequencing are central to human activity. From the coordinated movements needed to walk, to the order of
words in a sentence, planning and sequencing are critical to efficient human function and performance. Interactive Metronome
is a tool that improves motor planning, sequencing and timing by using neuro-sensory and neuro-motor exercises developed
to improve the brain's inherent ability to remodel itself through a process called neuroplasticity.
INTERACTIVE METRONOME RESULTS:
A dramatic increase in focus, attention, concentration, and mental and physical precision. IM
trains your brain to filter out external distractions by strengthening your neuro-circuitry.
IM improves your ability
to monitor mental and physical actions as they are occurring - not after.
